Life's a beach

We made it to the beach today. I'll call it a success even after multiple other failures this morning, including that we still can't figure out how to exchange money, and we can't figure out how to use Uber or any other rideshare app to get us around. Direct route, its 15 minutes in a car (air conditioned on the way there, not on the way back). We went to Las Arenas, a long, sandy stretch along the gorgeous Mediterranean. We were definitely not alone in our attempt to get to the beach from the scalding temperatures, but even packed liked sardines, we loved it. The water is impossibly warm and we could walk super far out in the sea without the water reaching our waists. We only have our place in the City until Sept 3, and we are now officially on the hunt to find a place closer to the water...closer to our hearts. :)
